The series of ink drawings made from memory, explores domesticity, the concept of home and the distortions of temporality. The artist pays homage to three generations of women in her family, depicting distant as well as more recent memories from their homes, these emotionally charged and dense personal spaces. The calligraphy-like gesture of the ink drawing on fragile, iridescent gampi paper allows for an immediacy and unmistably precise line.
The metallic, kinetic mobile installation, inspired by the "ferro-concrete" poems of the Russian futurists, juxtaposes the pieces like a flow of memories from the everyday life of this feminine domestic space: flowers, food, windowsills, clothes and curtains... It creates a theater of distorted and manipulated images, emptied of its inhabitants, confronted with the passage of time, like palimpsests of memory.
